US Geological Survey is a goverment site that provides all types of products (at a minimal charge), geographical data, maps, and photos that can be downloaded free of charge. Topics include mapping, biology, geology, water, and land use. It also provides inactive research that anyone can join into.
The CIA Homepage for Kids is where you can find the World Fact Book. In it you can find a listing for every country, possession, or protectorate in the world. Topics on each include their Geography, People, Government, Economy, Military, Maps, Communications, and Transnational issues.
Emulateme is another page where you can find most of the information that is contained on the CIA Homepage for Kids, but you can also find links to the home pages of each of the different countrys. On the Home Pages of the different countrys you can find links to information about news, events, the country's history, restaurants, hotels, tickets and more.
The Thomas Homepage is a place where you can find information on issues concerning the United States Congress, things such as the Congressional Record, information on current legislature,  committees, reports, directories, congressional news, and links to the Library of Congress.
The Jefferson Project is a site that concerns itself with the politics of the nation. On it you can find links to all kinds of political resources, including information on the major Political Parties, current political issues, resources on state politics, political humor, and links to political information on foreign governments.
